How can I import a recording from GarageBand to iTunes?

Gargeband wont import songs from itunes?

I drag my selected song from itunes to drop into gargeband and it wont let me drop it I dont know what it could be. i tryed updating my garageband but theres no current updates . PLEASE HELP

itunes songs are copyright protected or can only be used on apple products its a joke really if u really need the music find another source itunes wont help
