How do I download pictures from computer to facebook?

Are pictures you don't download stored on your computer?

  • Are pictures you don't download stored on your computer? For example, I'm trying to retrieve a picture I had on facebook but it was deleted, but I didn't download it. Like, if I just viewed a picture on facebook or any site would I be able to find it stored somewhere in my computer if they weren't downloaded?

  • Answer:

No, if you just "viewed" the graphic, then it was simply opened in the RAM and was then remove when you closed the graphic. It was not "stored" on your system.

They are downloaded to your temporary internet folder when you simply view them on screen. Depending on the size limit on your temp internet files it might still be sitting in there - or it might have been flushed out by newer stuff by now. You can view the files in your temp internet folder by clicking "settings" in the [browsing history] section of the [Internet Options] dialog. Then click the "view files" button.
