Why Aren't Flash videos working suddenly a few days after IE8 Installation ?

  • OK, a few days ago, i installed IE8 from the home page of Ninemsn, and it worked perfectly for a day or two, then i went on the next day and youtube was loading extremely slowly and the way it opened was different, i checked some other sites and flash videos either weren't working or were taking ages to load, this didn't happen before i installed IE8, so i uninstalled it, this didn't help so i looked around, and i found somewhere that if i uninstall Flash player 10 and re-install it it might work, so i did this. This didnt help either. also it says up above the URL bar " Windows Internet Explorer provided by Yahoo!7" it has never said this before and only started to say this after i installec IE8, and it still says it after i uninstalled it. i have a HP pavillion A6030a home pc and i have Windows Vista. I would really apreciate if someone could help me with this ASAP :-) Thanks.....

    This is the sort of stuff you have to put up with if you use Microsoft software, use Firefox instead.

internet explorer provided by yahoo that depends on your home page,my home page aol,this might help go to the adobe site download the latest flash player,go to internet options click security click custom level make sure that active x and plug ins are enable, and active x and plug ins for safe scripting is enable,sometimes the info bar will show prompting you to add on flash player plugins to all or a site you want to look at,ie8 is more secure than ie7 and a little faster
