How can we use our PC as a voice recorder?

Any one know of a "covert" voice recorder software for PC?

• Hello, Im looking for a hidden voice recording software for PC that will automatically record the sounds picked up by a mic attached to the PC preferebly without me having to start it up manually). Basically to cut a long story short its my kids PC and im trying to find out what they are whispering and giggling at when they are on PC and we are out of the room. I do try to keep an eye on my kids when they are on the PC but i cant always be with them all the time but they are of the age now where they know how to cover their tracks and also that would notice a non covert audio recorder working and stop it.
