Explorer crashes, iTunes doesn't run, Minecraft asks about JRE... how do I fix all this?
-
Ok so, I recently installed Visual Studio Ultimate, may have installed Visual Studio Tools on mistake, but most importantly I installed DirectX SDK (October 2005), then uninstalled it since I needed DirectX SDK (June 2010)... somewhere in the middle of this I installed a Runtime, probably C++ Runtime and I may have installed DirectX 9 (while already having Dx10 or 11) when I installed the SDK. It may also be important to state that I switched all the icons from 125% to 100%, cause my laptop is a 15.6" 1080p screen and it came with zoomed everything! After all these changes, I've encountered many problems: 1- I can't launch chrome anymore, for some reason, and the only way around this was to install chrome again in a different foulder. 2- my iTunes doesn't run because Apple Application Support isnt found... tells me to reinstall iTunes 3- when I try to run Minecraft, it says "this application requires Java Runtime Environment 1.50", which I already have cause when I try downloading it and installing it, the setup aborts saying that I already have JRE 1.50... so I can't play cause I don't have JRE, but I cant install it cause I already have it... 4- Most annoying problem of all, sometimes my explorer crashes and restarts, randomly when I do something and sometimes it enters an infinite loop of crashing and restarting that makes it impossible to use the computer... I haven't found any other problems so far, but tried describing all the changes that happened in the system that may have caused these problems, so please if you have had this before or have seen it before and know how to fix it, please help me!

Answer:
Disable the device drivers that are not functioning properly. Use Device Manager. Click Start, type "Device Manager" in the Search box, and press ENTER. Right click a malfunctioning device, and select Uninstall option. If a new hardware is connected to your computer, then disconnect it. It may be not supporting your operating system. Verify a message something like 'Designed for Microsoft Windows".

Uninstall the concerning program from your computer, or deregister the shell extension from the system registry. A system file required to run Windows can be missing.
