Are there any free movie making programs similar to Windows Movie Maker?

Window's movie maker not saving because..?

• "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available and then try again." Okay, I have gone to a multiple amount of sites, and I see the same thing. Something about WWV? Or WWM, and that I need to check my RAM. I checked my RAM, I've closed all programs and just opened that it's not working. I tried using a Codec, because they said it cannot read files and nothing's working. I seriously don't get it. It's not like the files to big. I've tried making it shorter, not adding certain things, and lowering the quality. And nothing is working. Help?

  For video, you need lots of memory and lots of hard drive space, and have the right program too. First window movie maker is suck..try something like adobe premiere. You don't save movie, you render it to mpeg or any other formats that you want, then from there you can either burn to a dvd or to upload online. WMV is good format to put online, cause most people can see.
