• Hi there!! I got a compaq Presario C500 laptop. I got a few questions which may be helpful to others too. I have got Vista Home premium installed. I want to uninstall it then format my hard drive completely, change harddisk partitions and then install XP. 1. Can anyone tell me how to do it step by step in little detail? What are the CDs I need to do this including all the driver CDs I would need after installing XP(Is it problem that i dont have any of my laptop drivers)? 2. I haven’t got any drivers CD. How do I find out what are the drivers I would need to install after installing XP and where can I find them? Do I only need sound card, display and motherboard drivers? Are they available in a single file on hp website? If yes where can I download it from?
