How to do webcam chat on mac MSN?

Will i be able to chat normally with a webcam on Msn on a mac?

  • I currently have a dell laptop, and i love it, its great for everything, i like the layout and msn and all that, but its gotten very slow over the years and my keys have come off, so im getting a new one, i want a mac, but im not sure whether some of my favourite programs like MSN and things will be as good as my laptop i have now, i want to be able to chat to my friends on msn on a mac laptop as easy as i do now, and i want to transfer files from my old laptop onto a mac, but im still not sure on whether they will work. i have created movies on videopad and they open up in windows movie player, but im not sure they will work on a mac, and i want them to, so shall i buy one or just get another laptop that runs on windows for my benefit?

Not that you asked, but the reason the Dell got slow isn't because of Windows, it's because it's old. Your Mac will do the same thing over time. You'll just spend more for the same amount of computer, more to get it repaired, more to maintain it. And have more problems running it. (If you think some things are difficult to do in Windows, wait until you have to get your wireless connection working, and have to learn the intricacies of Unix to do it.) You should get a Windows laptop because it's a better choice. (Look at Gateway - they're making the best bang for the buck in laptops these days. And, no, I never worked for them, but I own two of their laptops, and I'm very happy with them.)
