There are so many free satellite TV software out there. How do I make the choice? Which is the best?

TV tuner hardware often come with CDs that have TV software installers in them. They are designed for that particular TV tuner that they came with in the first place. But Windows Vista Home Premium and Vista Ultimate had built in software for that. Windows Media Center. Windows Media Center allows live TV, guides for TV, radio, online media, playing videos and music, picture viewing, support for XBOX and synchronization. You can even rewind live TV if your tuner supports it. But you need 1GB of RAM and maybe a 256MB graphics card to watch TV on Windows Media Center. But you can expect less bugs from it than other software that offers you to watch TV. If you are using Windows XP, you can then stick to the program that came with your tuner hardware since it doesn't have Windows Media center by default. You can also install Windows Media Center if you are using Windows XP.
