  • i'm trying to upload a video into windows movie maker to edit but it keeps giving me this error message " could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from" anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?!?!?

  • Answer:

Importing video into Windows Movie Maker 1. Hook up camera and make sure power is on. 2. On the left hand side of the screen, at the top, click on the blue link that reads “Capture from video device.” 3. A window will pop up with three options for you to choose from 4. If you plan to store and edit the movie on your computer, click the first option, it should already be selected 5. If you want to keep the movie in dv-avi format, click option number two 6. For more technical options, click the list under number three and select the option that fits your need best. 7. Click Next 8. You are then presented with two more options, capture entire tape or only capture certain parts. 9. If you wish to copy the entire tape onto your computer, select the first option. If you wish to only copy a section of it, check the second 10. You will also have the option to preview the videotape during the capture, which under some circumstances may affect the quality of the recorded video. If you are having problems, do not check this box 11. The Movie Player will then capture the video, though you may have to do some manual work with the camera if you selected option #2 12. This process can take some time, depending on the length of the video you want created. 13. After the video is captured it will be saved in a directory that it asked for earlier and a video file will be created. The video file will then be imported into the current Windows Movie Maker session. 14. You are now free to work with the video.

Its probably becuase its a wrong video file. WWM can only open .avi .wav .mp4 and some other stuff like that. If your trying to directly capture then try the person above me that looks like they coppied from a forum somewhere :)
