How do you clear the Š¯ahoo search history?

About deleting items in the "search history" in the favorites area Internet Explore 7.?

  • Ok so I really don't see why there is even a place to clear the browsing history under tools when you can click on the favorites star on the toolbar and click history>search history and search for any site that you have visited and date that it was visited since you have owned the computer. I have tried everything to delete the sites I have visited under the "search history" area in the favorites. If you ask me its pretty pointless to even delete your browsing history when someone can just click on that and search for whatever you have been on - not very private. I would really appreciate any help on trying to delete the sites stored under the "search history" area. I have been to websites to see how to do it but the files and folders they say these sites are stored under do not seem exist on my computer. I am running Windows Vista home pro.

This is actually easy to do, all you must do is make a minor setting change in internet option under tools and then you can erase you daily history anytime as well. Here is a link to the site that explains how, http://www.revver.com/video/644920/delete-and-manage-browsing-history-in-ie7/ Once you change just one setting, then just use tools to delete whenever you want. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.
