Instant Messaging program that supports Hotmail and Gmail in one?

I currently have windows messenger, I have changed my email address toa gmail one instead of my old hotmail. i just want a new easy to use program that lets you add all your hotmail contatcs on your gmail account. eg use gmail email address on a IM program and talk to hotmail users.

You can install multiple-protocol messengers like Pidgin, Trillian etc. With these softwares, you can login to all networks from one program and chat with all contacts from one place. If your case was a hotmail a/c moving to a Yahoo a/c you still'd have some luck.
