How can I make my itunes library smaller?

  • I have a 4gb ipod and I want to fit my entire library of songs on there. is there a way I can make the files smaller so they can all fit on my ipod? I have 1984 songs and it's just over 6 gigs, but most mp3 players that size say they can hold up to 2000 songs, so I must have made the files to big or something. How can I get all of these onto my 4gb ipod?

    Delete all the lyrics, album artwork, and any junk that is unnecessary. The artwork is probably taking up some space, but lyrics shouldn't take too much.

I is impossible . Space us space . Its like tryibg to fit 50 people in a bus made for 25 . You can take your ipod in and get the memory thing replaced to a bigger size but that costs alot of money or you can buy another ipod with more space ot another low gig one and have 2 llike one for one type of music but yea those are the only things you can do
