How to reformat my computer?

1.First of all, backup any programs you have/files. Because they are going to be lost in the process. 2. Locate your windows XP disk, put it in the cd drive 3. Restart your computer, and get into your computers bios. (Usually by hitting f2 or delete when the computer starts up) 4. Locate In the bios menu "Boot Device Priority" it should be somewhere and similarly labeled. When you find it make sure the cdrom drive (or whatever drive your using with your windows XP disc is FIRST or at the very top). (bios sometimes have the boot device set to cdrom anyways instead of your hard drive, so step may not be neccesary) 5. Save and exit, when the computer restarts it will attempt to boot from the windows xp disk, follow the onscreen instructions. eventually it will come to a list of partitions on your computer. Delete the partition and install a new windows partition. It will do it's thing (you'll have the option of format or quick format, quick format is fine). 6. You'll probably have to put in your Windows XP activation code at one point, it's usually on the disc package or on the side/bottom of your computer if it's a Dell/HP/etc... 7. Once your done with all that you'll need to reinstall drivers for your computer, if it's a prebuilt (dell/hp/etc) there is a seperate disc for this, otherwise you'll need to search the internet for the drivers for your motherboard or computer. Thats basically the gist of it.

Format C:

Formatting a system is not a big issue. Just change your boot setting and set the first priority to cd player and insert the windows XP cd again. Rest of the task will be handled by the cd.
