How to change language in Ubuntu 10.04?

How can I successfully mount an ISO on ubuntu 10.4 using wine.?

  • Hi there. First of all I should say I am very new to Ubuntu so if you have a solution for me please please please be very clear. I have seen some people saying to change the script but I have no idea how to do this. The computer I'm using is a sony vaio netbook, trying to install the language pack for rosetta stone. The software has installed with no problems but it will not detect the CD. So I made an IS form and mounted using "Furius". I then changed the path within wine to the iso location and changed to CDROM.. still no success. After this I have tried to install a form of windows on VirtualBox but it will not boot from the cd I have either (using an external drive). Any ideas on how to get this to work would be greatly appreciated.

  • Answer:

First off a ISO is in simple terms a disk image. You need to burn ISO to a disk, when the burn is complete you will have exact copy of original disk. You need a ISO burner like PowerISO, ImgISO, or any like software. There is a burner on Ninite.com.
