Why can't i download macromedia flash player?

  • there are certain websites that require macromedia flash player to view them so i followed the link to the website to download and the instructions say to click the yellow toolbar to allow the download, but there is none. Then there is a yellow box that has an x in it just does not allow me to download at all. what should I do? I clicked download and my computer just sits there. help it is really annoying me because there are alot of web sites that need macromedia flash player to work.
