What is the best free internet restriction program? I want to block my usage of the web during work hours?

I am a work at home consultant and thus it's important for me to maintain productivity - unfortunately I have low self-control. :) What I want is a free program that ideally: - blocks all web-sites for a designated amount of time with a few exceptions - ideally, encrypts the password so I couldn't change the settings if I wanted to

you'd probably be better off investing the money for any such program into a self help book...really, I don't think such a thing exists...a program that will lock you out of the internet and keep the password from you also? you could just not open the browser in the first place? to be honest, I use a widget on my desktop to keep myself busy. its a timer that dings every ten minutes, and then dings 2 minutes after the ten minute timer (I think its called a 10+2 timer). I have a wandering mind, and so I use the timer to keep me working for 10 minutes, and then take a break to browse, read, talk, or whatever for 2 minutes, but when that 2 minutes is up, I get back to work. http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/tenplustwo
you can use NetDog ; http://www.netdogsoft.com , it blocks website quitely in the background when anyone's on the computer.
