It also shows an option to start startup repair but it doesnt work. I tried system restore (doesnt work), running safe mode (doesnt work), last know good config (doesnt work). What do i do? I dont have the repair disk! Can i just download the deleted dll's and paste them @ their location? (If yes, please provide the link) Just so you know, I have ubuntu 11.10 installed which is working fine. Please Help!

  • Answer:

It looks like your computer is infected by the sirefef rootkit malware. With what the log shows, I would just format and re-install Windows 7 Ultimate X64. In the long run it will save you time and energy trying to fix all the damage.
