How do I set up windows media center from an xp desktop to my xbox 360?
-
My xbox is hooked up via wireless adapter to my home network which is run through my desktop (terrible connection). Everybody uses vista for this and everybody I know who has this uses vista. I've tried over and over again even creating my own methods to set this up but i always get stuck at the set up key screen on my xbox even though my computer's fully set up, (WMP 11, media sharing enabled, firewall ports down for media sharing)...please help!!

Answer:
ok, go to the set up media extender on the xbox 360, once you progress to the step where it gives you a code, leave it at that screen. now move to your PC, go into media center and go to add extender and progress through that and enter the code the 360 gives you. from your description, what i think your doing wrong is setting up your PC first, you have to set up the 360 first.
