I selected an image in photoshop and need to change the size. The boxes won't show up! how do i resize?

the little boxes on the edges of the image that i usually drag to make the image larger wont show up on photoshop 7 all of a sudden, how do I fix this?

Hi, in order to resize your image you need to click on the layer of the image you want to resize on the LAYERS PANEL (normally on the bottom right hand side on default). If the layer's name is background with an image of a lock --> double click the layer (beside the word background, do not click on the name itself) After that a "New Layer" pop up box will appear --> click OK Then go to the control panel on top --> EDIT --> TRANSFORM --> SCALE Then the box should appear for you to resize. Hope this helps :D
