How to remove unwanted toolbars?

How do i permenately remove toolbars?

• I had to download some programs for an offer, imesh and utorrent. they both come with toolbars at the top. They are clogging up the screen so i cant see anything, and they are affecting the internet. now, they automatically send me to ask.com or imesh.com when i need to go somewhere else for asking things, i can no longer access most visited for quick access to websites, and i cant seem to get rid of either. i have already tried to delete imesh permanetly by following someones instructions on blocking it with firewall and using task manager to turn it off, but the way it is changing my internet and the toolbar are still there. help is greatly appreciated, as this has gotten pretty annoying

  You can click on View/Toolbars and uncheck the ones you don't want to always display....or uninstall them.
