Why won't Hotmail load up?

Hotmail.com/aim.com/aim(progra… will not load, what could be the problem?

• Hi, Hotmail.com will not load and hasn't for the past few days. I get this error message: "The server at www.hotmail.com is taking too long to respond." Don't know what's wrong with that, but then I tried to login to AIM and that wouldn't load either. When logging in It's stuck on "connecting" though once it went to "transferring" but stayed there also. I thought maybe I'd try reinstalling AIM, but then aim.com wouldn't load either, and I get the same error message I got from hotmail. Same with facebook. The same problem occurs on my downstairs computer, though all other websites are loading fine. Also, hotmail and others all load up without a problem on my friends pc. I'm running 64 bit windows vista. And I've done a registry cleaning and virus/spyware/etc. scan and found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

  Well you're going to get two answers here. Most people will tell you to use the free cleaner "CCleaner" which u can get from http://www.ccleaner.com - but this is BAD because it just tries to find as many problems as possible to make itself look good (why else would it be free)? You need to be careful with the regsitry because it's a crucial part of your system. If you screw up one of the important files inside it, you're going to have BIG problems down the line... so you need to be sure the registry cleaner you use will be as "delicate" as possible with your PC. The best regsitry cleaner I've used is one called "RegCure". It's very fast at scanning and it speeds up your computer a lot.
