Pro Tools 8 Download Help?

So I bought the physical cd version of Pro Tools 8.0.3 LE, but the cd wont work. The guy at the store told me to register and download it online and it should work. Well, I dont know if Im blind, but the only key on my cd wallet is NOT working when I try to activate/download Pro Tools. Should I just take it into Guitar Center and have them do it or am I doing something wrong or should I do something else? Anything helps!

If you bought a boxed version of Pro Tools LE then registering it will not add it to your Avid account. Contact GC about replacing it, or call Avid http://www.avid.com/support/support-contact
