Where can I get a domain name with e-mail?
-
I am trying to find some place to register a domain name for my website and set up e-mail for it (perhaps 4-7 addresses); that is, register www.domain.com and [email protected]. I know that there are such places, but where can I register something like this?

Answer:
ipage is one of the cheapest around, with top-quality hosting as well. I'd suggest them. Unlimited size and bandwidth (to a reasonable amount, can't run the next Facebook from them, for example), and 1000 email addresses available, if I recall correctly. http://www.ipage.com

Casale offers your cheap domain name and email. As per my knowledge they are have the lowest prices. You can register a .com for $7.49 or .info domain for $1.99 and get 1 GB ad-free, virus protected, spam free personalized email address with 100 email forwards like: yourname.com and email as: [email protected], etc. Also you can purchase more email accounts pack with unlimited space and then your domain name is just $1.99/yr.
You can register a domain name and get a free e-mail address and fully functioning webmail account with it as soon as you've registered the domain at http://www.TheRegistrar.net The total cost of the domain name,e-mail account and other free useful add-ons will be just over 8 dollars a year. You can have a paid upgrade for more addresses etc whenever you like.
I think I understand your question. You want the inexpensive path. Just register a domain name, no hosting. A domain name being, just $6, $7, $8 or so per year. Then you get your email addresses. Right? In my experience, I've seen no registrars that will provide email service. What they provide instead is, email *forwarding*, which is quite a different thing. They give you the email *addresses*. You have to decide on a service to which the email sent to those addresses will be forwarded and stored. The domain name registrar WILL NOT store your email (and won't scan it for spam and won't keep a trash can for you and won't keep drafts of what you're in the process of writing and won't keep an address book and on and on...) So the domain name registrar is just like a pass-it-on kind of service, yelling, "Hey! It's over there!" If you have a (free) gmail account, and your paid-for domain address is [email protected] you can have all your [email protected] forwarded to [email protected] ... and when you logon to [email protected] you'll see it... And while you're there you can send mail FROM [email protected] ...and no one'll be the wiser.
If you buy a domain name, normally you'll get email addresses with your web hosting package.
