Is there a way to get skype messenger on mobile web without downloading anything?

Technical Help: Webcam Effect Software and Help With Skype 5.5.0?

• SKYPE QUESTION: I just checked my Skype for an update and it told me I was due for the newer version of Skype. I went the Skype website and downloaded the newest version of Skype. Now, I realized, it's so much different from the one I had, which was like the third or third-and-a-half one. I now need to know a few certain things about my new Skype, because I don't really understand it! First, how can I share my screen while video-chatting with a friend? My friend is able to do it easily, because she has an older version, the one I used to have. How do I screen share?! It's a really important feature to me. Secondly, WHERE IS THE TOOLBAR? I was searching around on the Skype Site, in FAQ, and it kept talking about how to change a few things, you need to go to TOOLS at the top menu bar. By the pictures, I think they're addressing what to do if you're using Windows, but I'm using Mac OX. How do I get to TOOLS on my Mac? Also, on the site, it was talking about how I can customize my Skype application. I don't know exactly what they meant by it, but it interested me. If by "customizing", they mean changing the look of the application when I open it, HOW DO I DO THAT? Also, I checked out about what the were saying about changing the fonts in Skype, but found out you can only change the font size on Mac, not the actual font. Is there any way to jailbreak this and set my messages to one of my downloaded fonts? I would really like that. Lastly, if there's anything else I should know and can do for my Skype experience, like downloading more emoticons, etc, PLEASE TELL ME. WEBCAM EFFECTS AND VIDEO QUESTION: I downloaded ManyCam, and like it pretty much, but find some of the effects cruddy and there's not a HUGE selection of effects on their site. What are some alternative softwares like ManyCam that (1) work with Mac OX (2) are completely FREE (3) work in video making {iMove} (4) and work with Skype video-chatting? Also, how do I use ManyCam with iMovie?

  Hi, You have a lot of questions hahaha.. But kidding aside I will answer all your questions to the best I can to help you. #1 You can only do screen-share with the person while on a call.. You have to call the person and click on the + sign then select screen-share. This will automatically show the person you are talking with on what you are doing. Unfortunately Skype can't do screen-share if you're not engaged in a call. #2 Try to uninstall your Skype and go back to the Skype page and look for a MAC-Compatible Skype installer and install in on your MAC laptop. You can check the link I have provided below.. #3 Customizing the Skype application basically is on how you would want to configure or set the settings and your personal profile it's not application related. #4 No there is no way to have your own set of fonts other than the ones pre-loaded by Skype. (Unless you are a good programmer or you would really spend a lot of time and money to do research and have it done to you by an expert) #5 Check the Skype APPS directory on their website there are a lot of add-ons Hope this helps you with all your Skype inquiries.
