How do I open this word document in html?

Why Doesn't Saving a Microsoft Word Document as HTML Work Well With Apple and Linux?

• It seems to me that when you try the "easy way" to make web-pages with Microsoft Word by typing-them-up with Word and then saving them as HTML that Microsoft Word web-pages made this way JUST-DONT-WORK RIGHT. When you make web-pages with MICROSOFT WORD (Word), that the web-pages just don't look good on Apple Computers nor do they work good on Linux computers. Why would this be? What is better than Word? Does Open-Office do a better job at this? And, if so why?

  Because: Microsoft build all his programs inside of a own environnement. That's also why the frontpage was not that welcome on hostings. The best to do if you like to type your text in microsoft words than it is recomanded to type only the different fragments of textfiles and save them as .txt . You can then paste them in an other editor to make it HTML files. If you don't do it that way the microsoft files will mess up your webpages. Crimson Editor 3.72, Con Text, and Nvu, kompozer 0.7.10 and there are more freeware editors, they can handle all your txt files you made in word and change it easely in html files. Also the Open Office can do it very good.
