Are there any free movie making programs similar to Windows Movie Maker?

  • Hello answerers! I need you guys' help once more... Okay, so I am making a video for a project, and I am seriously getting tired of using the same effects, and I am sure my audience is, too. I am currently using the Windows Movie Maker already installed in my computer, but I wanted to know if there was a better program out there, like the iMovie. That one is great, but since I don't own a mac I can see no way of installing it. So are there any good programs out there for movie-making (preferably free XD)? Or is there a way I can download more gadgets for the current Windows Movie Maker I have now? THANK YOU!
