How do I put together a "Press Kit" for my band?

Help with iMovie and garage band??! EASY 10 PONTS! NEED HELP! :')?

• So i have started to make a unprofessional music video, and i recorded my voice, and bought the sound track for the background. I am not going to edit my voice. anyway, for me singing, it is silent in the beginning where i had to click on youtube and press play because i was listening to the song in headphones and reading the lyrics of a video. I recorded myself on garage band. So when i was done, i put the soundtrack next to it and as you could have guessed, it didn't go together because the music starts right away and i don't. i wanted to get my voice onto iMovie where i could cut it, but the only way i know is to put it on iTunes, and then take it from there and put it on. But that would count as the music track, i wouldn't be able to drag the background music on as well, because i had already put a song (my voice imported through iTunes) on... how can i get it on so i can fix it?? Is there a way of doing it on garage band?? HELP! 10 points!!!
