What is a FREE antivirus removal program?
-
Last night I got a "antivirus 2012 security" virus, and it wouldn't let me open my icon to get RID of it. It also blocked off my internet. It stopped with all of the pop ups, and the internet is no longer blocked. ALL I NEED is a free antivirus removal program. NOT JUST THE SCAN, I need the removal to be free too! I used to have malwarebytes downloaded, but it quit letting me open it. When I tried to reinstall it won't allow me. Also if anyone can answer this question it would help: Why can I not download certian windows? I'll try to open a window (I have a site that I get on so I can draw, and when I open the window to draw it doesn't allow me. It's not a glitch with the site.) and it will just make a "bing" noise and then close back. I need some seriouse help. xD.

I use Avast. Works great.
Super-anti Spyware is great & malwarebytes is good too. Try also spybot: http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html Try 'System Restore' to an earlier date first though and see if that works. If these don't do the trick: 1. Get all of your files off of your computer onto a flash drive or dvd or external drive. 2. Reformat your computer & reinstall all programs / drivers 3. Install Avast Anti spyware (free) 4. Plug in & Scan all external drives & devices connected 5. Install Superantispyware Hope you have some good memory & space to run these programs :)
first thing first, try to system restore to an earlier date. this can be done by pressing F10 (this key may vary depending on your computer) while your computer is booting up, and select system restore. choose any date, preferably a month back, and your computer will restore itself to the state it was back then in the case that the virus infected your system restore files, you will have to reinstall your computer to its OEM state (full system reinstall), or download an antivirus as you said. It seems that you are unable to download files, which means you must install an antivirus from the disk drive or an USB stick. I do not know of any antivirus programs that offer free virus removal. Of course you could buy an antivirus. Another way is to pirate one and then burn it to a disk before installing it to your computer I suggest you try the system restore, and then do a full system reinstall if that fails. This virus sounds particularly nasty so you might not even be able to install an antivirus to begin with
I've never heard of superantivirus, however, here is a post that has links to my personal favorite Anti-Virus programs for different platforms. If need be, you can download the installer to another computer and flash drive it to the infected one (in case the virus blocks you from installing it). Always keep protection on your computer, even if it's free protection. AVG runs completely in the background.
I tried Superantivirus, but I took it out because it took so long to do it's job.
