How Do I Fix My WebCam On Windows Vista?

My WebCam isn't working like it should. I logged onto Meebo to use my Aim to chat with friends. I tried connecting Meebo to my WebCam so I can chat with friends on Meebo. While the WebCam was waiting for one of my online buddies... to accept my invitation for a WebCam Chat; the color of the WebCam had changed. The type of WebCam I am using is "WebCam Companion 2"
