I downloaded windows xp but couldn't copy the iso file to another pc,why?

my problem is after i finished downloading my windows xp i wanted to burn it on a dvd, but this current pc doesn't have a dvd rom so i had to copy the file to another pc, when i finished and wanted to burn it, power iso said that *Media collect failed, or there is no media file existing* that means the File was corrupted when i copied it, this happened to me before when i downloaded a game, so can anyone please help me :(, how can i copy the file safely

I've seen this happen when a stick of RAM is bad. Run a memory test to see if you have bad RAM and which bank it is in. Remember that pretty much everything you do on a computer passes through memory. This could explain why you only see this problem periodically. Chances are the bad stick of memory is only used when you move very large files around. Best of luck!
