How do I get out of safe mode?

How to get out of safe mode on Windows 7?

  • I am stuck in safe mode and even when I choose to go back to normal mode after holding down F8 it still for some reason goes back into safe mode. Please give me detailed directions on what to do to go back to normal mode.

  • Answer:

In Safe mode select Start, Run, type "msconfig" and click on OK. Check the box before Normal Startup and click om Apply and OK. Exit and restart your computer. http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/51552-stuck-safe-mode.html

again hold down the F8 key, then choose start windows Last Known config bla-bla... if still didn't work, so sad, you need to run system recovery utility... meaning you need to reformat your hard drive....

Hold down the windows key and press R In the run dialog type msconfig Select Boot tab Uncheck "Safe boot" Click "Apply" and "ok"

If your computer will only boot into safe mode, then there is some kind of software issue that is preventing it from booting normally. There are several options you can try to resolve this. First try a system restore, but careful...system restore done in safe mode cannot be undone., You can also try the last known good configuration. If you are in safe mode open a command prompt, by right clicking it and select run as administrator. Run the following command to try to repair corrupted or missing system files: sfc /scannow good luck

guess i would shut it down from start button. wait five min an start it up. maybe some system file is missing if this don't happen.

Get a mac.
