Is there an easy way to speed up my torrent download..?

    If you're downloading a whole season of something, you can skip downloading some files till the others have come in. If you're in utorrent, do this on the "files" tab for the torrent. Also, when you're downloading something, make sure it has plenty of seeds and peers. If you're downloading individual episodes, get them from http://eztv.it EDIT: Ok, so if you're downloading the torrent at the top of the list here: http://google.com/search?q=charmed+season+3+dvdrip (looks like this one has the biggest swarm), skip all the files except for episode 7. Then do the same, for the other episodes as you're ready to watch them...

What .torrent client are you using? Try upping the number of open connections in the network settings.

How fast is it going? Kb/s? Add that detail and I'll edit. You might be maxed out anyways; episodes of things take a while to download. Easiest fix: Pick a torrent that has a nice, healthy seeding pool. At least 20+ and you should be connected to 5 or more if you want things to move quickly. EDIT: Yeah that's pretty slow. :P Always best to hunt for the full season torrents because they usually have the most seeders. However, you don't have to download it all in one go if you don't want. Just uncheck the files (episodes in this case) you don't want to download yet. You can always reuse the torrent. Here ya go: http://www.mininova.org/det/114321
