How To Install Evdo In Ubuntu?

Ubuntu 9.04 Full Install on a USB Drive?

  • I've been trying to get the latest Ubuntu to install on my external hard drive (with about 70 gigs). After I install Ubuntu from the Live CD or directly from Ubuntu already installed on my internal drive, I can boot it up from GRUB perfectly fine. The problem is, that as soon as I reboot, Ubuntu will not boot any longer. The USB boots up perfectly fine, then GRUB boots up perfectly fine. Then the loading screen that says "Ubuntu" comes up. As soon as the loading finishes, the screen goes blank, flashes a couple times, then blank again. I left it for about 10 mins, and nothing happened. I booted it in safe mode, just to see if anything changed or there was a problem, but everything loaded perfectly and the blank screen was back. Does anybody know of a way to fix this, or another tutorial that installs Ubuntu 9.04 FULL version on an external hard drive?

  • Answer:
