Nothing else is exactly like GarageBand, but these do music editing: -- Free: Acid Xpress (not related to Quark XPress). -- Pay: Cubase (about US$600), Ableton Suite (about US$400), or several products from Sony (Sound Forge Pro US$375, Acid Pro US$300, ACID Music Studio US$65) I didn't do a Google or Yahoo search for dubstep, but I suppose it is a Hip-Hop thing. The answer is the same for all types of music. OK, did a search, found this sample of dubstep http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f2/Shackleton_naked_bass_drop.ogg It's more of a Techno-Electro-Garage thing. If you don't know Techno-Electro-Garage, well, you just ain't in the groove, mate.
