Certain windows updates will not let Vista connect to the internet?
-
I'm running Vista Home Premium and after I download updates I can no longer connect to the internet. I had deleted a security update and it let me connect but it was really slow. I reformatted the hard drive and before I installed any updates I could connect to the internet. After installing updates I couldn't connect until I deleted Update for .NET Framework 3.0 (KB942371) and I've had no problems since. The internet has a cheap setup with several internet lines hooked up in tandem that may very well be less quality than you would find in the states. Does anyone know why it would do this and how to tell which updates will stop my internet before I install them? Thanks.
