How to convert to .mdi help?

• HELP! I am trying to convert TO .mdi Heres problem: I record my music off my keyboard onto my computer, but i want to play it on my keyboard speakers but it doesn't work, so the solution Take recordings and export them as a .wma or .wav file (I CAN CONVERT THESE TO SOMETHING ELSE IF NEED BE! though i am limited to what I can convert them too) then convert them into a .mdi file so i can put them on the SD card, put the SD card back into the keyboard, and play it using the smf player that accesses the SD card and plays it on the keyboard speakers. My only problem: I CANT FIND SOMETHING THAT WILL CONVERT TO .MDI FOR FREE!! (I must admit I dont have that much money, please help :)) help me find a program that will convert to .mdi THAT IS FREE and i dont need a bunch of 'perks' to come with it if there is a demo version thank you for the help!!(oh and the converter can be online also, it doesnt matter)

  I don't know any program which can convert to midi, but I can explain to you why it is so hard. Midi stores just the notes of the music similar to the notes on the notebook. When playing the notes are combined with an instrument just the same as your keyboard does when you touch a key. To convert recorded music (like wave) to midi the computer program has to interpret which notes you where playing and with what instrument. If this can be done it will be very hard because e.g. the microphone you used for recording muted the sound and there are also background noises which can't be converted to notes at all.
