Which adobe program would you say is best for working with typography?

"working with 'typography'?" do you mean Photography? Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 is 80% cheaper than Photoshop CS 5, and it does 90% of what a legal copy of PS CS 5 does. I'm guessing you didn't BUY Photoshop CS 5...

Adobe Illustrator is a vector program. I find that its ability to easily bend and stretch areas such as lettering or numbers to be of great use if I need to do something different with a letter. check it out.
