How do you burn movies on a DVD?

How do I burn a DVD movies file onto a DVD-CD?

  • I have this movies saved on my computer. The format is a MPEG-4 file. So I guess it's already converted, but how do I burn it to a DVD-CD? I tried using iTunes because the file is on Quicktime but it didn't work. It just did nothing. I tried using Movie Maker but it wouldn't let me add it on there. I tried using Windows Media Player but it wouldn't let me add it on there either. So can someone please tell me how to burn this movies. I'm running out of time!!!
