How do I get videos from a DVD to my PSP?

Im using DVD Decrypter and PSP Video 9 to get my DVDs on my psp. The problem is ......?

  • DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and PSP Video 9. The dvd are broken down into 4 or 5 parts from DVD Decrypter. Then i use the PSP video 9 on those new files to make them MP4 format and put them on my PSP. The problem is that the first section of the movie is fine, then the rest all look fine but are in another language! I cant figure out why this is happening, especially because some of it is not messed up and then some of it is. Can anyone help me out, i just wanna take my movies with me when i am on the go.

PSP only support MP4 videos. You should make your videos MP4 format. There is a guide for your PSP, it works well. This guide contains two parts: Part1. How to rip DVD and convert MOV/AVI/WMV/ASF/Divx/Xvid/MPEG/RM to PSP video format. Part2. How to upload/transfer PSP files to your PlayStation Portable (PSP). http://www.top5soft.com/tutorial/rip-dvd-convert-limewire-youtube-video-to-psp.html Also, you can search some other converter: http://www.ask.com/

Yeah, I encountered the same problem with you when converting to my PSP. I have to try some other converters to finish my conversion, PQ and Xili are good but the trial version is restricted. I tried Pavtube, it is better than the two. Now, I have tree conversion tools: DVD Decrypter, PSP Video 9, Pavtube DVD Ripper.

So, your problem is in DVD Decrypter. You probably should do this when you're ripping the DVDs; Insert the DVD into the PC, open DVD Decrypter. Select your DVD in the DVD Dropdown menu. Choose the titles you want to rip. Then go on the "MODE" toolbar and click IFO if it isn't selected. Next, click on Tools;Settings;IFO Mode, and check that it is not splitting the files, if you don't want them to be split. OK, I think this next bit is your problem. The languages. You need to make sure you only have english audio. On the box where you select the titles, there should be a tab above called "Stream Processing". Select that, then tick the box that says "Enable Stream Processing". Then just select the video and audio you want. ONLY PICK ONE VIDEO AND AUDIO TRACK. It's best to do the top two. Now you've got rid of the other languages save it as the VOB, convert in PSP Video 9 and you should find that not only it's in one language, but the file is actually smaller. Hope I solved your problem.
