How do I download Adobe Flash Player??

everytime i download adobe flash it just finishes installing but i dont have the program. i don't get why. i download the installer from a lot of websites already the result is the same. it downloads it but the software isn't there so i can't use the software. i already tried searching it on my computer but its not there either. please help i really want to use it. thanks!!!

adobe flash player is a plugin u use to watch videos and stuff on sites not for editing or making flash movies , u prolly want Adobe Flash CS3 Professional
