What is the best way to get a free iTunes code (NOTE: I am not buying a song)?

I WILL BE REDEEMING A GIFT FROM MY FRIEND... but it says on iTunes that i cannot redeem the gift (which is the album) unless i have an iTunes account... to have an account, i need to have credit card info (which i dont have), or the codes, or whatever... i repeat, I AM NOT BUYING ANY SONGS/VIDEOS/whatever... i just wanna claim my gift ... some were saying Ticketmaster... but how does it work? do i still need 2 pay 4 it just so that i can get a code? thanx..

Unfortunately, itunes doesn't really give away any free itunes codes. At least that I know of. You can however get free music downloads from some other websites. ez tracks will give you 100 free songs.
