  • Computer Experts: How do I record phone calls to my PC? I am looking for a way to record phone calls to my PC, and then be able to post those calls as a link on my fb page/website. Basically like recording prank phone calls etc...I am not very PC skilled, just the basics. Any suggestions?

    Open the voice recorded, if you don´t have one, I recommend you "Camtasia Studio" which can record the voice as loud as you want. Open camtasia or your voice recorder, prank someone, and open "free-hands" option, then record it, easy as that.

There's a number of ways you can do it: if your phone has a headset jack, you can get a cord that has two headphone jack ends and plug it into LINE in on your computer and the headset jack on your phone (you may need a special converter, then use like windows sound recorder to record. Or you if you have a modem on your computer, most telephone answering programs let's you record. Also, you can use skype to make phone calls and just set your computer to record the sounds. To change the input on your computer to record lines other than a micrphone---> Right click your speaker icon, click recording devices, and change the default recording device.
