Does the R4 III SDHC work?

My r4 sdhc 3ds is not working. someone please help!?

• first thing's first. i just bought a new 3ds like three weeks ago. the 3ds comes with an r4i sdhc 3ds, and 30 free nintendo ds/dsi games. (they made me choose between 1 3ds game and 30 nds/dsi games. since there was only one 3ds game left in stock, a football game and me not being a huge fan of football, i chose the ds games.) then one day, i updated my 3ds system, and when i tried to play the ds games, the games won't work, saying 'an error occured bla bla bla..' and i tried it over and over again. then i tried to find some answers on the internet about the error and i found out that my r4i doesn't support the 3ds updated system and that we must download the kernel and upgrade it. so i followed the steps and borrowed my neighbour's ndsl to upgrade my r4i. but when i tried the r4i on my 3ds, something changed. previously, the card's home menu name is something chessmaster, but this time it's name changes to 'the chronicles of narnia prince caspian disney interactive studio' and when i opened it the screen suddenly turns white. what happenned?? please help!

  you sould not use R4 or anything like that nintendo did that update to block all iligal content including your R4 so your R4 will not work
