How do you make your avatar full size?

How can I make a photo the size of an avatar?

  • Without ruining the composition? It gets to pixel-y or grainy. Halp?

  • Answer:

    You can upload your photo to Photobucket and then click edit, which will give you a new screen. Let the photo load for a moment, then click resize, click the size you want and then click apply. To save it click save copy or replace original depending on what you want to do.

If you resize a graphic, you WILL change the quality - that's the way it works. If you resize by the correct amount, it won't look too bad, but the amount varies, depending on a few factors, and it can get so complex that trial and error is usually faster.

windows paint very good for resizing, can also upload to photobucket they have good editing tools i suggest first save it as .gif (sharper) in paint, then resize it.
