How to create text watermark background?

How do I create a custom picture watermark file?

  • I want to put a custom text watermark on a Windows 97-2003 document. I need help in CREATING TEXT IN A PICTURE FILE so I can insert it. I understand you can do it through PowerPoint, but have been unable to do so (online directions do not mesh with my program options, it seems). I understand how to insert a picture as a watermark, but I need to create that picture (which will not be an image, but custom text) first. I do not have PhotoShop.

  • Answer:

    1. Start Word. 2. On the Format menu, point to Background, and then click Printed Watermark. 3.In the Printed Watermark dialog box, click Text watermark. 4.In the Text box, type My Watermark. 5.In the Font box, click Century Gothic. 6.In the Size box, click Auto. 7. In the Color box, click Turquoise. 8. Click to select the Semitransparent check box (default setting). 9. Click the Diagonal option next to Layout. 10. Click OK. The watermark that you just created is visible on the document sheet.
