Why can't I get my videos to show up in Windows Movie Maker?

Why cant i get my videos on windows movie maker?

  • i save my videos in my recordings, and when i go to windows movie maker i go to import videos and then i go to my recordings my videos are not there.. but if i just go to my documents and then go to my recordings my videos are there..lol its weird, wats am i doing wrong?

    I had the same problem. It could be many things like your kind of computer and camera aren't compatible, like my friends vista and his Everio JVC. Or you could not have saved them into the correct file format or they are not a supported file.

The reason that you cant get your movies onto windows movie maker is that they are the wrong file format, the reason you cant see them in your folder is that it will only show you windows media files to begin with. You need to click on the 'FILES OF TYPE' drop down bar and change it to 'ALL FILES'
