Foundations of Technology vs Computer Science!?!? In my school, you need to enroll in or completed Algebra I when entering Computer Science I. However, you need to enroll in or completed Algebra I when entering Computer Science II G/T. Do you need computer sciene I for computer science II or you need just Algebra. It says you can take another technology education credit course which I am; Foundations of Technology. Does Foundations of Tech help you with Computer Science II? I think they have the same concepts and everything. What do you think?? Help!!! Thanks.

Answer:
Foundations of Technology is an overview course - a "this is some of the things technology does" course. It will be of just about no help for computer science - you'll need CS1 to take CS2, and you'll need Algebra 1 to take CS1. Foundations of Technology is like "tech for artists" or "tech for lawyers".
