Can I get some help Programming a Registration/Login system for a Social Networking site?

• Okay, I've been working on a social networking site rather vigorously and I've run into a bit of a snag! I'm so frustrated with it, you have no idea. For the past three weeks, I've been trying to get a registration and log-in system up and running for my website, but it doesn't seem to want to work. Every angle I take, I run into some sort of roadblock! Pardon my language but it's starting to piss me off! Okay, can anyone help me? Now, I've tried downloading premade registration and login systems... for some reason, each and every one of those systems have failed on the host server (www.ipage.com). I have contacted the ipage support team several times, asking them for help, but all they say is that the problem is "on my end", which simply means that they programming is faulty. They refuse to help me with the programming, because they're also web designers and the only way they would help me with the programming is if they design the entire website for a hefty fee. Now, I've also tried to build my own registration and log-in system and that has failed me miserably, as well. So, I'm going to need a fool-proof system that has been tested and is KNOWN to work. That way, if another problem does arise, the support team at ipage.com cannot say that it's "on my end". Can you either help me build or send me a link to a system that actually works? Now, before you can help me, you must know that this website will have some age-sensitive material in certain sections of the website, thus the registration form absolutely MUST have an age and/or date of birth section to it for age verification purposes. It also MUST have either cookies or sessions. This system is going to need to be secure and powerful and able to handle millions of people using it all at once. It will need to include an access-controlled system that will automatically redirect users to the log-in form, if they're not already logged in. It will also need: Protection against SQL Injection, the use of htmlentities, an age section without the age verification (I will add that later to the age-sensitive sections of the website, by calling up the user's age from the database table). It will also need sections in the registration form for First Name, Last Name, Username, Password, Age, City or State, and Country. Any help on this issue is deeply appreciated. Now, to be more specific the problem I've been having, here it is: just last week, I finally managed to create a registration form that worked! YAY! My access-controlled system was working! YAY! But my log-in system was faulty! BOO!! So, I looked at the programming, it was perfect. But, I kept running into one roadblock, or another. Once, I ran into a roadblock with the sessions. The next time, I ran into a roadblock with the submit button, but NEVER has the log in form worked. So, two days ago I found a full system with EVERYTHING included, so I deleted my registration form and my MySQL table and started anew. Just one giant problem: NOTHING is working! • Answer:

  Account creation and log in functions are the most basic part of any online site. If this part, which is by far the easiest part of what you are trying to do, is giving you this much trouble then I would submit that you have probably bitten off more than you can chew with this idea. You say that your system did not work but the code was perfect. That is a very noobie attitude as nobody writes perfect code. Not even those of us who have been doing this for 20+ years.
