Hi! I want to post a simple but good personal website as quickly as possible. I already have a domain name.?

I've already registered a domain name with name.com. I'm not talking about an e-commerce website--just a relatively simple, personal website. (This website will have an exact purpose.) My website will need only one or a few web pages. I don't want a totally "cookie-cutter" website--I'm perfectly willing to spend a little money if need be. I simply want a small, personal website of relatively high quality (as soon as possible). I'd sure value your advice!!!!!

One possibility is to use a simple Content Management system that has its own templates. you choose a nice template and then you introduce your content more or less like using a text editing program like Word. A simple and very good system that is used mainly for blogs but can accommodate other stuff as well is Wordpress (http://wordpress.org/). It is free and you can find many free templates. But you should check with the hosting company that your server supports it. (What you need basically is to have PHP and MySQL installed, if you don't know what these things are just ask them if you can use Wordpress on your site and they'll probably know).
